Travel Diary: Austria, Elemental Edit

Processed with VSCO with p5 preset

i have plenty of photographic content from my Austria trip, so decided to organise it into several posts. scanning through the images briefly, i noticed a repetitive wave of colour— blue. i then realised that this is something i love most about summer trips to the alps- the freshwater lakes and flowing falls are truly magical. the first image is from Zell am See lake, which I’ve been dipping in and out of on our trips since i was 8 years old. the waterfall images from the fairy falls on our favourite hike were taken in morning light, and the spray  created some beautiful light marks on the photographs. the final two images were taken in the Swarovski museum- no water near these two (electric) pieces of art, but their colours and textures perfectly mimicked the icy winter and liquid summer alpine conditions to me
